A Beautiful May Wedding Day Celebrating Faith and Love

I love looking back on Mary and Joe’s special day at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Park Hills, Kentucky. Their wedding took place on May 13, the feast of Our Lady of Fatima. This date also happens to be 513, an unofficial Cincinnati holiday – both have such meaning for this local couple!
Their wedding details were so thoughtful, especially the statue of Our Lady of Fatima included in their flatlay. The day had some touching moments that made my heart squeeze. Mary’s mom passed away in 2020, but the couple made sure she was there in spirit. They placed a beautiful picture of her in the church pew, creating a space for her presence on this important day.

A Pastel Dream: The Wedding Theme and Details

The color palette of peach, mint green, and steel blue created a stunning vintage pastel theme throughout the celebration. One detail that caught my eye was the gorgeous wood flowers. These forever blooms from Sola Wood Flowers looked absolutely amazing and will serve as lasting keepsakes.

Mary looked radiant in her gown from David’s Bridal, while Joe looked handsome in his suit from Men’s Wearhouse. Every detail came together to create a day that truly reflected their personalities and love story.
Honoring Our Lady on Their Special Day

Faith played a central role in Mary and Joe’s celebration. They found beautiful ways to honor Our Lady on their wedding day. We took some lovely photos with a rosary, which turned out to be some of my favorite shots from the day.
The fact that they married on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima made these moments even more special. The church setting at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish with its beautiful architecture created the perfect backdrop for these sacred moments.

Breathtaking Cincinnati Skyline Photos at Devou Park

After the church ceremony, we headed to Devou Park for some outdoor portraits. The weather was perfect, and we were treated to an amazing view of the Cincinnati skyline in the background! These photos really capture the beauty of the city they love.
The natural setting with Cincinnati’s urban backdrop gave us the best of both worlds for their wedding album. The soft pastel colors of their theme looked stunning against the city views.

Rustic Reception Celebration at The Barn

The reception at The Barn in Mariemont was a great spot; this rustic venue complemented their theme so well and created a warm, inviting atmosphere for their guests.
As the night went on, we even got some fun elevator photos!
