Hi, I'm Victoria

Your Catholic
Wedding Photographer

I'm based in Cincinnati, OH but willing to travel for this beautiful sacrament.
This handsome man next to me is Steven, my incredible husband, and the person who believed in me + encouraged me to pursue this dream of mine! We've been married since November 2020 and know firsthand the beauty of marriage.

Would you believe me if I told you I actually have a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing?! I actually worked as an Emergency Department nurse! During college, I took a film photography class as an elective and absolutely loved it. My professor even mentioned how I should strongly consider a career in photography. But I dove headfirst into nursing school, and put my camera away for a couple of years. One day, I mentioned to Steven how much I missed photography and how I really wanted to buy a new lens. Shortly after, he bought me my first "fancy" lens and, when it arrived, a spark re-ignited in me! I have been hooked again ever since, and I am so happy to do this full-time now!

Take a look around to learn a bit more about me! I am so excited to learn more about you and your wedding day.

Tell me about you!

Fun Facts About Me!

My husband and I were long distance until 2 months before our wedding!

I was born + raised Traditional Catholic!

I revived the prolife club on my college's campus and have been strongly involved in the prolife movement ever since!

Our go-to places to eat out are Chik-fil-A and Panda Express!

I am a bit of a daredevil and have been skydiving! I want to go again and take Steven with me!

We live in a log cabin with our two crazy puppies (Smokey + Missy)

I was homeschooled from 3rd grade-12th grade! I actually also teach for a company called Homeschool Connections and teach a couple of science and photography courses! And I recently taught a prolife course too!

I am into all the homemaking things! I am no expert, but I have a little homemaking group with some friends where we learn new skills/hobbies like embroidery, canning, painting, etc! It is super fun!

Why is your name
Mystical Rose Photography?

I wanted to choose a name that honors Our Lady and one that embodies romance and joy!
When my husband and I started looking at ideas, we looked at the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Litany of the BVM is very near and dear to our hearts, as we prayed it throughout our engagement and right before our wedding ceremony! My husband was reciting the titles in the Litany, and as he said Mystical Rose, we looked at each other and we both knew it was the one!

Your wedding day is so important. Not because it's the best day of your life (I truly believe those are yet to come within marriage), but because it's the start of this beautiful vocation. A new family is being created, and the Catholic church is celebrating that. My aim is to capture your wedding and marriage beautifully and reverently; and for you to feel joy and peace every step of the way.
