A Dream Come True: Abby & George’s Beautiful Latin Mass Wedding
When Abby reached out about photographing her wedding, her words touched my heart. “I’ve followed you for years on IG, and honestly its been a big dream to have you do our wedding, your work is fabulous. We go to the TLM, and are in search of a Latin Mass wedding photographer.”
Our first phone call felt like chatting with an old friend. I was so happy to travel 4.5 hours to Vienna, OH to capture their special day at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish. Abby and George’s love for each other shone through every moment, surrounded by their loving family and friends who came to celebrate their new beginning together.
Their wedding beautifully honored some Catholic wedding traditions like the Marriage Crucifix and the Nuptial Veil, while adding personal touches that made the day uniquely theirs. They also did a beautiful “first touch” in front of the St. Joseph statue – a wonderful and quiet moment before the ceremony began.

The Sacred Ceremony at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish
The Latin Mass at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish (291 Scoville Drive, Vienna, OH 44473) was the heart of Abby and George’s wedding day. George shared that the wedding Mass was what he looked forward to most. The church’s beautiful architecture provided a stunning backdrop for their vows.
During the ceremony, I worked quietly to capture each special moment. As Abby later noted in her kind review: “She was so reverent during Mass, I never even heard her shutter click during Mass, and she captured so many sweet moments.”
For the couple, one of the most joyful moments came after their vows. Abby mentioned that “walking down the aisle after the Mass is over” was what she most looked forward to – that first walk together as husband and wife!

Celebration at Harpersfield Community Center
After the beautiful church ceremony, everyone gathered at Harpersfield Community Center (5604 Cork Cold Springs Road, Geneva OH 44041) for a reception filled with joy and laughter.
Unique Reception Activities
What made their reception stand out? Two things I’ll always remember:
- Musical chairs! I had never seen this at a wedding before, but it was so much fun to watch and photograph. The guests had a blast!
- Traditional dances including the Grand March and the Virginia Reel, which brought so many to the dance floor.
These personal touches created a warm, family-centered celebration that perfectly matched Abby and George’s personalities.

Behind the Scenes: Capturing the Perfect Latin Mass Wedding Photos
Throughout the day, I focused on being more than just a photographer. As Abby kindly noted in her review: “She was sweet and kind, cheerful, upbeat and silly the whole day. She was helpful and we just loved her!”
My goal at every wedding, especially at special venues like Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Vienna, OH, is to blend into the background while capturing authentic moments. For Latin Mass weddings, this means understanding the ceremony and showing extra respect for sacred moments.
